This week sports seven inked writers. Each of which is a survivor from last week’s currently inked. Six black nibs, and one steel.

My school is running a professional development day on Thursday. I anticipate a healthy amount of fast writing at odd angles (thank you, auditorium seating) and jottings this week. So keeping five of this week’s inked pairings equipped with round nibs is reasonable.

The Gentleman Stationer posted a lovely reflection on the draw of stealthy pens last weekend. Black pens, often with black or dark rhodium trim. And sometimes with black nibs, too. Inspired by Joe’s post, I pulled my own all-black pens from my pen tray.

This week’s currently inked adds two pens. I chose them because they both hold sentimental value for me.

All together, this week offers a healthy mix of nib sizes. The color palette follows suit. Two EF (in grey and blue), two F (green and orange), and two B (blue and purple).

My week starts with four inked pens. That means there is a some room to customize my currently inked. I get to swap in two new pen and ink combinations. Love it.
