Does it work for me?, a mnml digest
A curated journey through five articles, posts and podcasts that are speaking to me this week. Pulled widely from a week’s worth of reading. Shared in ten sentences or fewer. A fun means of reflecting on the blogs I regularly read in a way that spreads the linky love.
My reading this week has me asking: does it work for me or do I work for it?
Are you useful? (CJ Chilvers). I tend to choose the best books, inks, pens, projects at work — you name it — when I ask this question of those things.
Reader Question 1: Paper as a Read-It-Later App? (Analog Office). “Are you working for me?” in action. For the record: scanning analog notes for later digital searching is now on my writing queue.
Pen Review: Penco “Drafting Writer” Pen and Pencil (The Gentleman Stationer). Another great example of “is it working for me” in action. As a delivery mechanism for another thoughtful review.
Hannako (uses this). Speaks to me as an example of someone whose disciplinary software doesn’t work for them — yet.
trans joy (contexts). The liberatory power of digging into what makes us joyful — and not apologizing for what does work for me.
