Any journaling is journaling done right, a mnml digest
A curated journey through five articles, posts and podcasts that are speaking to me this week. Pulled widely from a week’s worth of reading; and in ten sentences or fewer. A fun means of reflecting on the blogs I regularly read in a way that spreads the link love.
This week: remembering that there is only one rule in journaling. That rule: do you. I often find myself trying to copy what someone else does. Or creating rules like “journal a few lines every day.” Successful journaling is picking it up again.
Kaweco Original(s) (Too Many Pens). A handwritten electronic pen review (ahem: blog)? Irony of awesome.
Marlon Brando’s Notebook (Notebook Stories). Diagonal lines and horizontal lines and scribbles in the corners still count as “right.”
Kahlil Gibran on how storms catalyze creativity (The Marginalian). Recording nothing more than what’s around you can get deep in the best of ways. Plus, I dig a good rainstorm.
Thinking Fandom: When (and How) to Watch Games We Love and Hate (The Society Pages). Asking deep questions about my hobbies is fair game — and another source of enjoyment. Self-reflection is fair game.
Having trouble starting your next thing? (CJ Chilvers). Because, as CJ suggests, creating anything is valuable. And worth celebrating.

Note: This is an experimental post series. I’m still playing with a creative way to share links. Future posts may look quite different as I continue to tinker. Suggestions are quite welcome!
