Asking the right questions about use case, a mnml digest
A curated journey through five articles, posts and podcasts that are speaking to me this week. Pulled widely from a week’s worth of reading; and in ten sentences or fewer. A fun means of reflecting on the blogs I regularly read in a way that spreads the link love.
This week: use case. What works for me is likely different from what works best for you. Reflections that ask how various products work instead of will they work. A subtle — and game changing — difference for me.
What Makes Us and What We Make (The Marginalian). Fitting in is more about how we fit than do we fit. Appiah is an amazing read for those who have yet to adventure into social philosophy. My head goes to: how might a pen or notebook or ink work for me instead of asking “will it?”
Traveling with ink: Suffolk, August 2022 edition (Rupert Arzeian). Same question on use case — travel focused.
Take a Peek Inside Christine’s Planner (Yoseka Stationery). Excellent analysis of what does and doesn’t work for Christine’s planning needs. With a healthy dose of customization.
Product Review: Nebula Guide Sheet Set (The Well-Appointed Desk). Finding a guide that’s usable, reusable, and fits how I think is lucky. Nebula’s flexible guides seem to cover many use clever cases — just not mine.
Top Five Pens for Planner Use (The Gentleman Stationer). Context is everything. And use cases that are specific to how I need to work are positively joyful.

Note: This is an experimental post series. I’m still playing with a creative way to share links. Future posts may look quite different as I continue to tinker. Suggestions are quite welcome!
